JHB Group Completes Delivery of New Fire Safety Simulator
Buckley AFB, CO – JHB Group, Inc. completed delivery of an innovative fire safety trailer to the 460th Civil Engineer Squadron located at Buckley Space Force base in Colorado this week. The new Fire Safety Simulator is a custom 27ft mobile training platform designed to fulfill a variety of capabilities for public safety on the base including fire safety education, preparedness, special events, training, community engagement, recruitment and more. The Buckley Fire Department and other divisions of the 460th Civil Engineer Squadron will be using this game-changing Fire Safety Simulator to provide a hands-on, interactive approach to teaching safety to a variety of ages throughout the area. The new simulator features ADA accessibility, solar charging, tablet controls and health safety protocols including easy clean walls and an UV disinfectant light system. The Fire Safety Simulator was also designed by the Buckley Fire Dept. to include a fully immersive severe weather system that sparks preparedness discussions and catches participants off guard with sound, lighting and real shaking effects to simulate a weather emergency. The 460th Civil Engineer Squadron’s purchase also includes two mixed reality systems. The world’s first Augmented Reality Fire Extinguisher Training System, called FiAR, allows fire extinguisher training to be hosted in any live environment with 3D mapping technology and a revolutionary training application that even allows users to use different types of fire extinguishers within a variety of fire behaviors. The second mixed reality system from JHB Group is a ground-breaking virtual reality fire sprinkler demo system that gives participants a 3D experience showing the the benefits of fire sprinklers in different types of buildings.
