The History of JHB Group, Inc.

JHB Group, Inc is the slow evolution of pursuing success outside the firehouse.
 
Building Fire Safety Simulators was not the intention, but a surprise, providing an opportunity to make fire safety education better, while being innovative and increasing accessibility all age groups.  
 
The first mobile platforms JHB fabricated were to be sold as mobile trailers for team building events. The use by fire departments for public education was an adjunct idea that shaped into a real and impactful improvement for public safety education, outreach and even recruitment. 
 
Now, we are in this to break boundaries and create mobile platforms that embrace common sense, energy efficiency, real world scenarios, and quality, at a fair price. In an industry that is all about tradition, we welcome the challenge.

2003

Everything started with Chicago Fire Truck
​Rentals, a mobile fire truck used for kids birthdays parties, promotional events and parades.

​2006

FireZone opened the first location in Glenview, as the first fire house for kids.

​2009

FireZone Schaumburg opens as the largest kids
​fire safety facility in the country.

​​2013

FireZone hosts the 100,000th child.

​2015

FireZone started offering firefighter based team building events with great success. 

2017

JHB Group, Inc was created in February, founded by Christopher Ganz, based in Volo, IL. The first mobile platform, Hero Adventure Trailer was designed and wins 'Best New Product' at the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions.

​2018

The first Fire Safety Simulator was ordered and delivered to Midwest fire department.

​2019

First US Patent received for a mobile event platforms.
​Debut of FiAR, the augmented reality fire extinguisher.
Multiple order received for the Fire Safety Simulator by the US Air Force.

​2020

Debuted the Health Incident Trailer.
Designed the first VR Fire Sprinkler System.

​2021

Production of new Incident Command Trailers with Health Safety Protocols and Prehab/Rehab/Command Trailers with Advanced Tablet Controls.

2022
First ​Immersive Confined Space Training Simulator delivered to Canada & First Community Resilience POD Arrives in FL.

2023
